Day 2 Hosting Plein Air Painting for Yosemite Art Center

posted in: Art | 0

Another wonderful day, filled with beautiful environs, new friends and lots of laughs. We painted the “Superintendent Bridge” near “Cook’s Meadow” and “Sentinel Rock” today. A bit windy at times, but, again, a great time. You should all look into to doing this yourselves. They provide a kind of studio apartment for you, attached to the back of the Art Center, so your lodging is covered and they give you a discount card for meals at a couple of park venues, park entry fee is also taken care of, so it’s kind of a partially paid week’s painting vacation in Yosemite. How many times have you been given a week dedicated to plein air painting? I’ve attached my painting, so far, from today’s outing.
