Gamblin Artist’s Colors Creates a New Blue

Always on top of things, Gamblin mixed up a batch of paint using the newly discovered pigment, YInMn Blue, accidentally created by Oregon State University. After comparing it to other blues, already available, Gamblin determined it’s not worth manufacturing, due to the expense of the materials and because it doesn’t bring anything new to the Blue Family. You can get a 37ml tube to try out yourself, however, for just $195. I think I’m going to hold off!
